This month I interviewed Nina Garcia a parent of 3 children and blogger at http://sleepingshouldbeeasy.com/. I found Nina’s blog very interesting if you have time stop by and checked it out.
1.What do you find as most rewarding about being a parent. I love seeing my kids' different personalities. I'm excited to see them grow and what interests they'll pursue. 2. Have you changed since you had children? Yes—I'm a lot busier! I pick and choose my activities wisely, knowing I have limited time. 3. Do you still have time for yourself? Yes again! My kids are in bed by 8pm, so between then and when I go to sleep, I have time to do things I need or want to do. I also make plans with family and friends, with and without my kids. 4.What do you find the hardest about parenting? Being a parent can try your patience. There's also no "end," and it's not like we ever get to a final destination where we can say, "Okay, now we made it. Now we're done." It's an ongoing process, it's very subjective, and there are a ton of ways that may or may not work with your particular family or child. 5. How do you handle working and parenting? One of the biggest tips I have is to prepare. Do anything you can do the night before (like packing your lunch or figuring out what to wear). 6. What types of things do you like to do with your children? At home, we like to read, do art, and cook together. When we're out, we like to visit family and friends and go outdoors, whether it's hiking or to a local park.
